The irony of desire

Isn’t it strange?
Women always say that they want a sensitive man with a sense of humor. But in the words of Eddie Murphy: “But don’t get me wrong ladies, I wouldn’t fuck no ugly, funny bitch.” I can probably list up 10 point of what I look for in a girl… Eyes, smile, laughter… But I think not many sincere people can ever list up “good looking” as one of them. Although it is ultimately what we all thrive for.

Why then, is looks an off-limits desire? Well… The answer is this; it isn’t. We don’t mention looks because it makes us look shallow. It makes us look like we’re ONLY after the looks, and how you would look with your partner beside you.
But then again, isn’t that what we all really want? A semi-shy girl who don’t throw themselves at the world, announcing their “bitchyness”?

I’ll be the first guy to proudly say that he watches “The O.C.” call me gay if you want to, but I’m proud of watching the show. It’s not like I’m in to all the drama. It’s really because of one character there. Anna Stern, played by Samaire Armstrong. I like to believe that girls like that actually exist. A cute, smart and most of all, pretty girl, that actually likes the not-so-stereotypical guy. If you ask me, that is the ultimate girl, it’s just a shame that’s she’s a character in a TV-series.
